In your proposal to the department chair, address the following:

Key aspects of building a culture of assessment. Focus on strategies for involving faculty, staff, and students.
A plan to analyze approaches for assessing student learning. Include specific characteristics and assessments of student learning to monitor. List the questions to address related to assessment for student learning. Use the tables and tools provided in Chapter 7 as a guideline.
Discuss how analyzing the selected approaches for assessing student learning can support the development of a culture of assessment within the department.
The proposal can be presented in paper format and include tables and charts. The proposal should be 4–5 pages in length and formatted in APA style. Use a minimum of three credible, reliable resources to support the development of the proposal.
