Hypotheses Investigated

Each student will prepare a written summary of the selected article that includes the title, authors and complete citation (volume, pages and year) in the format used in the Literature Cited section of the Journal selected. The evaluation should answer and/or identify each of the following: A. What were the questions or hypotheses investigated? B. Did the authors’ have a “working” hypothesis? (Was the study designed to address a specific aspect of a larger question?) C. Summarize the experimental approach and/or the experimental model used. D. Summarize the results obtained and be sure to identify the independent and dependent variable(s) for any tables or graphs you discuss. E. What were the author’s conclusions? F. Did the experimental design and results support the author’s conclusions?
