Your Research Project (RP) Proposal Pro Forma should include the following sections: aim, objectives and feasibility of the research project; literature review; research methodology; list of references, and dissertation milestones.

The literature review requires some additional work. As I have already stated above, please divide it into several subsections per the content. Literature review should contain a comprehensive critical analysis of existing sources. It’s not a simply a compilation of brief reviews of existing sources. Your literature should include and would benefit from focusing on critical analysis, adding theoretical depth and coherence. A detailed, focused and critical discussion and analysis of relevant existing concepts and theories in the field of your research helps increasing the quality and validity of your research. All reviews of conceptual elements relevant for your research project should be well linked together. Overall, your literature analysis would benefit from taking a more critical approach to synthesizing the discussed material. Moreover, it could be further improved by relying on up-to-date sources.

Your methodology section would benefit from both improving its structure and content. As I have already stated above, please divide it into several subsections per the content. A critical and more detailed discussions of epistemological stance and research paradigm is required here. A clearer, more critical and focused review of research approach and research strategy; research design, including sampling, data collection, and data analysis methods would help improving the quality of your RP. For example, firstly, you do not clearly state what research methodolyg you are employing in your research project. Moreover, the discussion of the above elements is lacking a detailed information and critical comparison with other available options and review of their advantages and disadvantages. The same applies to your sample review. Please make sure that you are clearly defining and justifying your choices of research methodology and methods you will be using for data collection. For example, please clarify and better justify your choice of research methods and discuss its advantages and disadvantages. You are claiming that your research will be quantitative and also state that you will conduct several case studies. Please address inconsistencies in and clarify your statements.
Please make sure that you also address such issues as strengths and weaknesses of your research methodology, validity and reliability, and triangulation in more details and theoretically justify your statements.
It would be useful to identify and analyze research risks associated with the adoption of your methodology as applied to your research project.
Please make sure that you discuss in detail operationalization and development of the research instruments in your project.
Please make sure that you discuss and provide detailed information about conducting a pilot study of your research instruments here. Further, in your RP Methodology chapter, you will discussed and explain how your research tools were changed based on the analysis of the results of your pilot study.
Please make sure that you explain how your approach addresses the limitations of the previous studies and what the difference is between yours and the other authors’ approaches.
Please make sure that you are critically evaluating your methodology in retrospect in your conclusion sub-sections within this section.
Please make sure that all your choices, including research methodology, methods, sample size, data analysis, etc. are theoretically justified. I would also suggest that you were more intensively relying on the existing theoretical frameworks to justify your ideas and decisions. Please make sure that you are clearly defining the concepts and providing more detailed explanations, comparisons, criticism and evaluations of existing research and your proposed research project. Please make sure that you discuss your project in the context of the other authors’ research and clearly theoretically justify all your choice and ideas.
Overall, it would be rewarding to see that your RP is built on a more intensive use of various alternative perspectives originating from multiple academic sources. Theoretically justifying your ideas and providing contrasting opinions of other researchers help you preparing a more comprehensive, yet concise and well structured, critical analysis of the problem you chose to study for your research project, of its most important elements, and some related issues. Your work could be further improved and solidified by incorporating an analysis of consistencies and gaps between theory and practice. Please continue to engage in the search for additional academic resources that could contribute and add value to your analysis.
