Weeks 5, 6 and 7 students take short self-assessments and receive feedback on the answers they provided while taking the assessment. Students personally reflect on the feedback they receive and also make a meaningful connection to course content that is in some way associated with the assessment questions, feedback received, or student reflection on the topic of the assessment. 1) Follow instructions Preview the document for completing this assignment. Assessment: Positive and Negative Affectivity Introduction: Affectivity is a person’s tendency to experience a particular mood or to react to things with certain emotions. Individuals with a high positive affectivity experience tend to experience more positive emotions, including cheerfulness or enthusiasm. Individuals higher in negative affectivity tend to experience more negative emotions, such as irritation or nervousness. Goal: Students consider their affectivity. Introduction: One important characteristic team members should have is a positive attitude toward teamwork. Goal: Students consider their attitude toward teamwork. Week 6 Connection to Subject Matter: Groups and Teams Chapter 7: Types of Groups and Teams section- Teams 7-1b; Group Performance Factors section- Group Cohesiveness 7-2d; Managing Teams section- Teamwork Competencies 7-4c Part 6 – Week 7 Assessment: How Do You Approach Decisions? Introduction: Different people vary in how they approach decision making. For example, some are satisficers, ready to make a decision that is satisfactory rather than optimal, and others are maximizers who seek to make the ideal decision. Goal: Students gain insight into their approach to decision making.
