Describe in detail your own theories of abnormal behavior. At a minimum, included in this paper should be: (a) Your view of what constitutes “normal” and “abnormal:” how are these defined in your theory? (b) Your view of how it is that people develop mental illness; what makes people suffer in life, and what makes them well? (c) Your position on the influence of nature (biology) and nurture (upbringing) in the development of mental illness. (d) Your position on how mental illness should be treated.
