I started the FNP program with another University. I had to drop out of the program because I had no support. From the application process to the start date Marcus was there for me. He called me very often making sure everything is on track from my finances to books. Marcus made sure I was comfortable with blackboard. Before even starting with classes I felt the support from Walden University. While engaging with and following Dr. Obinna, I understand that critical thinking is very crucial in nursing. professional network is very important for one to succeed. The Walden University Video on the foundation of success states that the commitment for lifelong learning is crucial to the nursing profession. (Laureate Education, 2018). I have known her for almost three years now. She is an excellent leader and very supportive at work. I believe I can gain a lot of support from her with my FNP program. In our nursing career advancement professional network is very crucial for success. Dimia is my mentor and leader. She is great support to my professional career, and I believe she will be a great to my journey in becoming a family nurse practitioner. Her expertise and knowledge in nursing gives me the confidence to continue in nursing.
