Administration Plan

This will be a written plan to the administration representing a plan for assessment based on your theoretical perspective. You will detail an assessment plan for one content area for one grading period describing how you plan to use either assessment of learning, for learning or as learning – or a combination of these. Major issues to be addressed include how formative evaluation will be included for instruction, how assessment will be made of both performance and critical thinking, a plan for implementation and dissemination as well as how grades will be shared with students and parents. You will identify and provide the school’s philosophy of assessment (remember this can be either a real or created school) and a way to share that with parents and other administrators. Your plan will include the development of two rubrics. You will give an example of formative evaluation in your content area and detail its use, including remediating students. Your plan should include an outline of suggested in-service training for staff who are unfamiliar with suggested assessment methods, recommendations for school-wide training to extend your plan, and suggestions for how this assessment plan can be implemented and its expected effectiveness. Your paper must include a minimum of 10 references and be at least 20 pages in length. You will also include a PowerPoint presentation that you would use to accompany your presentation to the administration.
