You need to choose a newspaper article that you find relevance to what you learned in this class. First, write a 3-5 page report (double spaced, font size 11, excluding appendix, tables, and bibliography). The report should clearly answer the following two questions:

a. What is the article or book about?

b. How does it relate to what you learned in class?

Your report should be written clearly and in good quality.

Article Share Report and Showcase Guidelines

Purpose of the assignment: To relate the lessons from this class to everyday reading and to understand and appreciate how the class enhanced your perspective about management issues

You are required to submit a 3-5 page report (double spaced, font size 11, excluding appendix, tables, and bibliography).

What to Read: You may choose any major newspaper/business magazine articles (e.g., Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Fortune, Forbes, etc.), management-related book, or scholarly article.

If you choose to do the assignment on newspaper or business magazine articles, you are requested to read minimum three articles on a similar topic to develop depth of your understanding and reflection on the topic.

What to Write in the Report: The report should answer the following two questions.

a. What is the book or article about?

b. How does it relate to what you learned in class?

Of the two questions above, question b is the more important and you should spend most of your report space on the question b.

Grading Criteria

Clarity of book/article content and how it relates to what s/he learned in class
Accuracy or quality of the application (applying class materials to the book/article)
Writing quality (grammar, style, and APA standard)
