Artist or a group of art works

Write a 7-page paper on an artist or a group of art works selected from various exhibitions we’ve visited this semester. For example, you can write a paper on Lucio Fontana or Andy Warhol. You should include the following. Times New Roman font 12, double spaced.

(1) What it means to work as an artist?
(2) Most artists we’ve studied this semester have worked both in commercial and fine art worlds except Hans Haacke who vehemently criticized that system. Can you discuss types of work that an artist put up with in order to make living or livelihood as a citizen?
(3) Where do you find the biggest impact of an artist or a group of art works you’ve chosen? How do YOU define “success” in artistic careers? How did your artist define (or how may s/he have defined) success in their careers? Are these two overlapping or quite different? If so, why?
(4) Why did you choose this particular artist or a group of art works among 13-14 different artists we’ve studied this semester?
You can add references in parenthesis (author date page) and include one-page bibliography at the end of the paper. When you discuss art works or images, please insert them in the main text.
