Assignments 6: Research Paper

Individual Assignment. Assignment due per Student Content Map. Project management approach for Dairy Farm case study.

Structure and Format: Students will write a paper of a least 2,000 words (excluding citations) based on the topics below. The assignment will be submitted as a Word document adhering to the APA style guide (Title Page Abstract, Citations in the paper and at end). All submissions will include your last name (not my name) in the file name, i.e., Final. It is mandatory that you properly credit your sources within the paper in addition to the reference material you cite at the end of the paper.
The paper has two topic areas: The first topic area is to pick a solution to implement. The second topic area, and the more important one by far, is how you would manage the project. You will be the project manager for the approach you select.

For first topic area, you may select (1) Team A implementation, (2) Team B implementation, or (3) a hybrid of the two approaches.

The second topic area is your project management approach in some detail. The more important topic is the tools and techniques you would use to manage the project. These topic areas do not have to be discussed in two parts. I do not want to limit your discussion, but simply to provide a starting point for your research and writing. You may integrate the discussions and use whatever approach best fits your writing style.

The bulk of the grade will be allocated to how well you have succeeded in describing your action plans and decisions. A portion of the grade will be reserved for how much care has been taken in preparing the paper.
