Overview: As a Data Analyst for Local Grocery Inc you are asked to help analyze the store’s transaction database to identify interesting patterns from the database. The store is considering expanding its alcoholic beverages selection and wants to better understand its customers and their purchasing behavior related to Alcoholic Beverages. Perform a market basket analysis of the store’s transaction dataset and write a report that presents a summary of your analysis.
Two parts to this assignment:
1. 1 Page report with a summary of your market basket analysis
2. RapidMiner process file (Use Export process)
Rubric
1 The report should include
a. Summary description of patterns of purchase related to Beer along with a few example association rules (2 points)
b. Summary description of patterns of purchase related to Wine along with a few example association rules (2 points)
c. Graph Visualization of select products to illustrate patterns (2 points)
d. Description of one other interesting pattern other than those related to Wine/Beer along with example rules (2 points)
2 The report should be well formatted and include title, headings/subheadings (2points)
