PROJECT: LOOK UP A TREATY
As the chief author of this project, you get to decide what kind of treaty you would like to investigate and describe.

First, look up a treaty via the Internet or a book, cite your source, and answer the following quesions in a report of at least 550words:

Define a treaty.
Is the treaty you have chosen bilateral or multilateral? Which countries are parties to this treaty?
When was the treaty “done” and when did it “enter into force”?
What is the purpose of the treaty?
Why did you select this particular treaty?
What did you learn from this treaty?
Did you acquire any new terms from the language of the treaty?

Your response must include the following elements:

Reveal that you can do basic research in locating a treaty.
Show your understanding of what represents a treaty.
Distinguish between bilateral and multilateral treaties.
Describe the purpose of the treaty and your reasoning in selecting it.
Indicate that you gained something from the experience by revealing your acquired knowledge from the treaty research exercise.
