Clinical Epidemiology

Using the CDC website (link will be available on module), research seasonal flu. As an epidemiologist for the Texas Department of State Health Services, a large part of my job is educating the public on flu prevention and that includes schools. The assignment is: you are an epidemiologist and a school district has asked you to create a flu prevention campaign. Get creative! Pick an age group (elementary school, middle school, or high school students) and develop a flu prevention campaign that you feel that can reach out to this age group. Read through the portion for schools on the CDC flu site. Think about how and what method you would take to help students become more aware of flu prevention. That can be vaccinations, hand washing education, or cough etiquette.  You can do a PowerPoint presentation or a flyer on word document (remember kids love animations and emojis).
