Compare death of Beowulf and Gilgamesh

Compare how Gilgamesh and Beowulf respond in their respective journeys to the fact of death. Over the course of the essay, you must attempt to explain specific ways each character responds to death or the threat of death (i.e. mortality).

THE THREE QUESTIONS TO ANSWER
1. How are the respective responses of Gilgamesh and Beowulf similar and different from one another? Be as specific as possible.
2. What insights, in your opinion, do their responses illuminate about the universality of the human condition across time?
3. What contemporary example demonstrates a similar approach/response to mortality? You can choose either Gilgamesh or Beowulf or both. Your contemporary example can be personal or cultural. Just be specific with respect to your chosen example.
