Example: Share a sign system in your life. In your sharing, tell the story behind the sign system. Be sure it make the minimum word count – to do this you should tell the full story, fill the example with details.

Example: Share a time in your life when you converged OR diverged. Be sure to share all of the details of the interaction (who, when, and what was being discussed).

Concepts: Define Standpoint Theory.
Example: Share one specific time when you were are not in a position of power in your life and a truth, or truths, that you saw that maybe others may not have seen because they were in a position of power at that specific time. Be very specific about this one time. Share when it was, who was there, what was being done or said, etc. The focus of this sharing is not to bash those who are in positions of power in areas where we are not, but rather to share the truths that we might see because we are not in the power position that those who are cannot see because, as the lesson readings and lecture suggest, there is a less false view of the world from those who are not in a position of power. In order for the reader to fully understand the truth, or truths, that you saw from your perceptive, we really need to understand what was playing out at the time of the event. This is why details are so important.
