Construction of Clinical/Practice Question and Literature Review

When conducting a literature review, the goal is to obtain a representative sample of the literature which describes the concepts related to the phenomenon of interest and the research results applicable to the clinical/practice question and identify what gaps need to be further researched.

QUESTION: Within women in an inpatient psychiatric facility, what is the effect on a decreased nurse to client ratio, on patient injury, self-harm or medication errors when compared to a higher nurse to client ratio, within a six month trial period?
