Covid 19 Pandemic – International Business

Question 1:
In December 2019, the world became aware of an illness originating in Asia. At the time, the
concern was minor, but still significant – experts were concerned that this was potentially the next
“SARS”. As February progressed into March, the new “coronavirus” had become an international
pandemic, affecting businesses around the world.
Choose a well-known company/organization in your community, province/state or country (one that
you personally know well, and/or one that has significant available documentation). Choose a
company that has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic from an Employee loss and Financial
perspective. Ensure that the business that you choose permits you to respond fully to these questions.

Briefly explain what makes this business different than its competitors:
