COVID-19 Pandemic using Utilitarian and Kant’s Theory Proofread

Your draft is a good base for the final paper. You discuss the policies around covid as your ethical problem and apply different frameworks to it. You say you are using 3 frameworks, Kant, Mill and Hinman. But I’m wondering if your paper would be clearer if you didn’t think of Hinman as a moral/ethical framework, but more as the context and background for thinking of an issue as a moral issue. I had to read your paper a few times to really get what you were saying. I suggest that you re-read it and try to clarify your argument and writing. The biggest issue in terms of content is that you seem to sometimes lump deontology and utilitarianism together (see my comments in the paper). One example is when you say that Kantian theory is interested in the majority (it is not), or when you say the governor’s view that lives are priceless can be associated with utilitarianism (better associated with Kant). nonetheless, I think that you DO understand the differences in the theories, and just are not expressing them clearly. SO, be sure to fully explain and support what you say.
