Research Design Briefly discuss the overall type of research design that was used in your study (quantitative or qualitative). If qualitative, state a and define the specific type of research method, level 2 heading (phenomenological, ethnography, grounded theory, etc.) and provide a brief description of it. If quantitative, identify the specific type of research design (true experimental, quasi-experimental, or non-experimental) and provide a brief description.

o Is the research quantitative or qualitative?

o If quantitative is it experimental or non-experimental?

o If it is a mixed-method design, did this approach enhance the study?

o Is the design appropriate to answer the questions indicated by the problem and/or hypotheses?

o Is the target population (sample) identified? Are eligibility criteria specified?

o What type of sampling plan was used? What are key characteristics of the sample?

o Is the setting appropriate for the study?

o Is informed consent utilized?

o Who collected the data?

o How were data collected? (survey, interview, etc.)

o Are the measurement instruments or tools clearly described?

o What statistical tests were utilized?
