Diagnostic Paper Vignette

For the writing assignment, students will diagnose a fictional patient. Vignettes presenting the patients’ history and current presentation will be provided. This 6-8 page double spaced paper will include a clinical diagnosis, justification for diagnosis, and will follow standard APA formatting. Papers should be clearly organized with the following headings: Patient Introduction, Current Presentation, Diagnostic Picture, Symptom Identification, Differential/Other Possible Diagnoses, Treatment Recommendations. Papers are to be 12-point font size, Times New Roman, double spaced, and have a one-inch margin around the sides. Title pages or abstracts are not necessary, and will not count toward the page requirement. Students must cite the DSM 5, text book, vignette, and all supporting materials following APA guidelines. Papers are graded based on your ability to communicate effectively, clarity, content and grammar.
