Existentialism Presentation Assignment

The directive for your first assignment is to produce a presentation (PowerPoint, or something like PowerPoint; Prezi, etc.) on the topic of an existential issue of your choice. The issue you select should be something social or global, which is to say some ‘big’ problem that affects the lives of people. There is a rubric against which this presentation will be evaluated. You are strongly encouraged to refer to this rubric so that you can produce a presentation in accordance with the utmost professionalism in order to ensure top marks. This is posted to Blackboard.

This is a research project. I’m looking for you to weave course content that we have hitherto covered with at least 5 external sources. (These sources are up to you, just please make sure they are credible sources.) There must be a clear demonstration of how this issue connects to existentialism. Your presentation must contain 20 slides (no more no less!). You must include appropriate and helpful visual aids, or images throughout your presentation. (Other than that, consult the general rubric.) Note: Do not include any sound/narration features to your presentation as this sometimes leads to difficulties when crossing various platforms.

The overall value of the assignment is 24% of the final grade in the course.
