Expertise

Even as children, we develop expertise by doing things repeatedly. Some people become expert at solving a Rubik’s cube, others become expert at kicking a soccer ball. Write a few paragraphs in which you think critically and reflect upon your own area(s) of expertise and how you have developed it. If you do not feel you have achieved expertise in any specific area yet, reflect on your process of currently developing an area of expertise.

Work that earns a high grade will:

Be typed
Be well-written
Use your own words
Be turned in on time
Include evidence of critical thinking about:
how expertise develops (according to research) and
how it has happened or is happening in your own life.
