Final Reflection Statement

Write about my experience through this class (Analytical reading and writing)
– Really enjoyed the experience of being in this class, Learned to read and analyze difficult prompts (Panopticon by Michael Foucault and White Space by Elijah Anderson)
-Became more comfortable and confident in me when it came to writing essays, especially on difficult topics like the white space and my analysis of both panopticon and white space.
-Talk about expanding my vocabulary from the difficult prompts
-A major weakness I had entering this semester was the ability to analyze the prompts I was reading but with the help of Professor Hartman, it gradually became easier and I grew more confident in my papers.
How has the pandemic affected my academic goals and personal goals
– Talk about how I was in no way prepared for the Corona Virus and how I am trying to make myself a better person through all of this
– Academic goal wise, this pandemic has pushed me to work harder than ever because in a way I feel like this is a taste of adult life, Many of my professors aren’t there to hold my hands and help me through assignments, I understand most of them to have families and problems they have to deal with too. I feel like I have to work harder to keep my grades up even.
-Be specific about it, for example, at school i had the pleasure of setting conference with many of my teachers for help on homeowork to preparations for exams.
– Now i find myself usually teaching myself most of the course material ranging fron googling up how to do it to watching youtube videos.
-The pandemic for me has caused a lack of social time
– No group projects since online class have started, not able to share ideas with my fellow students ect..
