Glo Business Final Project

The paper will have three components:

1. What you learned from the process of playing the simulation game

2. Provide your actual performance and give insights as to why it was what it was as well as recommending a strategy for the next 3 years if you were to continue as CEO

3. Provide examples of how you can apply the concepts of Crafting Strategy and Executing Strategy into your personal/professional life after this course to advance your mission.

Style: Present it as if you would be presenting to the Board of Directors.

What You Learned

Write 1pages describing what you learned from the process of playing the Glo-Bus simulation as a CEO, providing me with your learning on how decisions made impacted results, and how it shaped your understanding of strategy development, and execution and the need to gather information as you make decisions.

Then, write an additional 3pages that describe your company performance in Glo-Bus:
Present your performance over the period that you were CEO – don’t sugar coat things and don’t use puffery.
Be specific, use terms such as EPS, Market Share, Revenues and Profits, credit rating, ESG, etc. and provide a comprehensive, easy to follow presentation that describes the company when you started, the decisions and strategy that you took, the results that you achieved and the rationale for the under and over performance in key performance metrics.

Present financial information clearly and easy to read ( use bullet points for financial comparisons and to highlight performances. Include in paragraph form for brief descriptions of financial data. Take time to break it down into percentage terms as well as absolute dollar amounts for gains/losses, increases/decreases.

Your Life… How can you apply this so you live within YOUR mission?

Then, write 2pages providing a strategic view for the next 2-3 years, if you were to remain as CEO, and explain why you are choosing this strategy for the company.
Lastly, write a 1page summary to provide your assessment of how you will utilize the lessons gained from Crafting Strategy and Execution of Strategy in your life over the next 2-3 in your personal life
Use APA format, etc. and I am not going to count pages, but rather seek quality writing that is original, thoughtful and insightful, and I look for a combination of style, clarity of thought, proper punctuation and grammar, and ability to make a point, defend it with additional argument, and close it with a strong conclusion.

I reduce points for lack of title page, poor grammar or spelling, lack of references, and laziness in thought.

There are no right or wrong answers, but there are ways that you can write this to defend your results. I am not looking for Glo-Bus performance – I am looking for you to assess the performance and give thoughtful insight as to why and how to improve going forward.
