Growing Up Asian American

Reflection paper that highlights how your personal understanding of the term “Asian American” has evolved since the beginning of the semester. Using at least one of the theoretical frameworks learned in class (e.g. sociocultural theory, critical race theory, developmental niche framework, intersectionality), please explain how culture, exit and reception contexts shapes the identities and/or experiences of Asian American second-generation youth and/or families. This final reflection should incorporate course materials from throughout the semester (at least 5 texts, with at least 2 from after the midterm).
