Chapter 3: Implementation Plan

Project Launch

A. Describe the process you will use for your capstone project by doing the following:
1. Describe the actual steps needed to implement your capstone project.
2. Design a lesson plan for your course by completing the attached “Lesson Plan Template,” and include the completed document as Appendix A at the end of your paper.

Note: You are not actually implementing the project but creating an implementation plan.

B. Identify interprofessional relationships that will promote the implementation of your capstone project.
1. Discuss how the relationships identified in part B can promote the implementation of your project.

Organizational Sustainability

C. Discuss the organization’s plan to support the implementation of the capstone project, including plans for short- and long-term maintenance.

D. Discuss the resources needed for implementation support.
Chapter 4: Evaluation Plan

Evaluation

E. Discuss the outcomes you will use to determine if your course is successful.
1. Explain how the successes of your project can impact future outcomes.

F. Identify interprofessional participants and discuss the decision-making processes and how collaboration will enhance your proposed solution.
1. Explain how key interprofessional participants will collaborate to help inform future projects.

G. Explain how your curriculum change proposal project addressed the curriculum gap in an academic setting you identified and drew a connection between the nursing education literature and current practice in nursing education.

Chapter 5: Reflection

H. Discuss how you integrated two MSN program outcomes into your capstone project.

Abstract

I. Create an abstract for your capstone project, including the following:
• the problem identification
• the plan for addressing the problem under investigation
• the implementation process

J. Submit your completed capstone report, including the abstract, chapters 1–5, and the completed “Field Experience Preceptor Agreement Form Template” and “Organizational Approval Letter Template” attachments from Task 1 of the Nursing Field Experience Course assessment.

K. Acknowledge sources, using APA-formatted in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.

L. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
