Katie is a 4 year old girl with Cerebral Palsy. Katie has a very hard time communicating in a way that is understandable to her teachers and parents. She currently uses approximately 30 signs to help her communicate. Her parents and teachers have trouble getting her stiff arms into her coat and shirt sleeves. She can eat finger foods somewhat independently, but does require more assistance when feeding herself with a fork and spoon. When Katie is not able to communicate and express herself with her teachers and family, she can get very angry and frustrated.
