Leader Paper

Write a 2-3 page response paper (APA format 6, double-space) summarizing what you have learned from ONE of the identified leaders about their leadership and why these points are important to you personally.

choose from

-Greek leadership (leaders as heroes)

-Shepherd leadership (biblical/Hebrew leaders)

-Hierarchical Leadership (Aristotle’s teachings)

-Servant leadership (Paul)

-Leadership as strength and seduction (Machiavelli)

Use any of the leaders we have discussed.

Make sure to include these 3 points:

1) Describe the Leader’s life.

2) Describe the leader’s historical time and why their leadership was important at that time.

3) Describe what you think made him or her a great leader (or thought leader) and why this is important to you personally.

Separate title page and reference page please – these are NOT included in the 2-3 page count. If you want to go beyond 3 pages, you can.

Please cite your references if you are using quotes (remember that I want to see your understanding of the quote, not just the quote – use quotes minimally). Suggestion: one quotation per page.

Minimum number of references: 2 (can be class notes and the Northouse Text).
