in a 4-6 page essay, (not including your Works Cited page. Work cited is it’s own page) explain how theme works in relationship to (choose only one) one of these literary devices below:
character, plot, tone, symbols, or point of view. Please write about theme and one of the short stories you have chose. (I have chosen the short story and have the story in a pdf file)

A thesis statement—at the end of the first paragraph.
Body paragraphs, each supporting or proving your thesis.Your body paragraphs should also contain strong topic sentences that relate to your claims.
Research supported evidence. You need to use at least two sources.
Your sources will come from a legitimate website, book, or an article from our library’s database. The school library database is on the main school homepage. You will go to saintpaul.edu and go under student services and click library. You will chose 2 sources that are similar or relate to the story. If you have troubles with that I can do that portion on my own and add onto the essay if needed. A log in usually isn’t required but if it does I can do that part on my own.
You will use your sources with care and thoroughness. Make sure that you double check whether your source use is strong and connects the piece of work to your thesis.
