Literary Analysis Research Paper

Write a 6-7 page, 1500-1750 word, literary analysis research paper in which you expand on one discussion post to be your research paper. In your essay, you will use one of the literary theories we have learned in-class, to help analyze your paper. (Watch for more information:

-In a literary analysis paper, you analyze a text closely. Analyze your topic!
-In a research paper, you will use quotes. You will need a minimum of 8 quotes (include ones from your annotated bibliography!)
-This is not an informational, non-fiction research paper.
-This is not a personal essay. Analyze your topic!

MLA ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY AND ONLINE SOURCES:

– Use 6 academic sources that are literature based.
– Academic sources are rom the library or library databases ONLY.
– No unreliable, unacademic sources like Wikipedia, or other websites. These are not allowed and may result in a failing paper.
– Do not use the first person pronoun (I, we). Or, use it very rarely.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Create an introduction that includes: an attention grabber, context/background, and ends with a thesis.
-Thesis that is arguable (I want your opinion!) But, please do not use “I” (first person)
-Paragraphs that follow that are structured with topic sentences, quotes, and analysis (you might want to follow the PIE).
-Arguable points (topic sentences)!
-8 quotes total
-Quote sandwiches! (Preferably in every body paragraph)
-Parenthetical citations for every quote.
-Analysis to explain your quotes!! (Follow summary vs. Analysis)
-A conclusion that wraps-up your argument.
-Syntactically mature, grammar-free sentences.
-A MLA works cited page
-Follow MLA formatting
-Please proofread!
-Give a creative title.
