Literature of immigration

you must submit a two- paragraph proposal to me in which you outline what you will illustrate in your essay. While the discussion in your paper can certainly incorporate course readings (and in fact, this is essential!), it is not sufficient to focus solely on works assigned in the class; you must also consult scholarly articles on your topic (the MLA – Modern Language Association – is a database I recommend). Paper length is 7-9 pp (7 is the minimum not including bibliography) and they must be double spaced in 12 point Times Roman font with standard margins.

The readings we have done are: A Wife’s Story”, “Silver Pavements, Golden Roofs”pages 57-84
The English Lesson (pages 21-34), “The German Refugee” (pages 35-46)
Math and After Math”, Lensey Namioka (pp. 27-34).

The thesis needs to be sent to me before the paper, by at least Sunday the 3rd of May. I’m adding 9 pages, 1 page is for the 2 paragraphs for the thesis, 7 pages is for the actual paper and 1 page is for the bibliography. Please let me know if you need more clarifications.
