Format: Pick a controversial media topic–privacy, piracy, finances, violence, sexuality, etc. in a specific medium–books, magazines, music, film, TV, advertising, etc. Teachers can write about media literacy or media in the classroom. Find sources that discuss your topic and then craft the paper. Start with an introduction that gets attention, transition to a thesis. Spend 2 to 3 pages examining both sides of the issue. Conclude with your position and provide reasons to support your stance
