Hotshot scientist number one, known as the Wizard, has a series of compounds that show promise for a very rare leukemia in whole cell assays. In fact so rare there are less than 200, 000 people that have it in the U.S.
Hotshot scientist number two, known as the Jackal, has a large diverse series of compounds, which show promise as anti-anxiety agents in rodent models.
Hotshot scientist number three, known as the Saint, has a drug, which shows excellent clinical efficacy against Malaria.
Hotshot scientist number four, known as the Mercenary, has no project of his own, but insists that you do not have to choose because phase I studies are cheap. He shows a chart the does indeed indicate that there are just enough funds to run Phase I studies on all three proposals.
