Instruction
1200 words news feature story
Students must find, research, conduct interviews, and write a news feature story of 1200 words, demonstrating mastery of news writing techniques, as well as an understanding of news values and the ability to conduct interviews.

The story should include at least three interviews:

The reason of organizing a activity called plastic free organiser
Why you wanna join this activity and what you did for this activity participants
and be worthy of publication in a local or state newspaper or news website.
Students should not interview family, friends or classmates. If in doubt, speak to your tutor.

Each interview must be accompanied by a consent form signed by your interviewee. One (1) interview AT LEAST must be face-to-face, the others can be phone interviews if necessary. Emailed interview comments are only acceptable for council, government department or minister’s  comments.

the headline should be catchy and summarize the news story
Start a news story as simply as possible

How to use Quote in the news story:
When you reference to the orginal words of the interview, you need to carefully to use quote, and you have to use quote. (this is very important, if you don’t do it correctly, I will fail)

Interview transcript (3 person: 1 for the organizer, 2 for participants)
* Students will also provide a transcript totalling 700 words of one or more interviews, highlighting the quotes they have used for their story.
