Write a 10 page paper on theoFor this paper, you will need to apply some of the knowledge you have been exposed to in this course. Beyond the mechanical expectations of correct grammar, syntax, EndNote, and APA 7th edition formatting, you are expected to identify a problem in a specified patient population and make a determination as to which middle range nursing theory could be applied in order to effect a positive outcome. In addition, you should reflect upon possible outcomes that could measure the theory’s effectiveness and address how your theory choice reduces the theory practice gap. Page limit is 10. Progress through this assignment as follows: 1. Write a theory paper that includes the following: o A title page o An introduction, setting up your chosen topic o An identification of an issue from your advanced nursing practice population, a health/system problem. o A decision on an appropriate grand or middle range theory to guide related patient care or system to solve the health/system problem o A clear description of selected theory’s main concepts and the relationship between these concepts and health/system problem (explain this first and present it as a conceptual map in the appendix) o A decision on an outcome(s) that can be used to evaluate the care’s effectiveness o A description or summary of implications for practice as to how your theory choice reduces the theory practice gap o A clear conclusion of the paper o A reference page including at least five (7) refereed journal articles. o An appendix containing conceptual map 2.
