Organizational Behavior: Assemble a team of managers/ select a Fortune 100 company.

You have been asked by a company which you are to select that must be a Fortune 100 company, to assemble a team of managers from different departments of the company. This team will give recommendations on how to improve efficiencies in the delivery of their products and services and overall operations, i.e., cost savings and increase in profitability. Your team is to consist of no more than twenty individuals, but no less than ten, and must come from within the company. You must research to find out what positions exist in the company you’ve selected.
First you must tell me what problems exist at the company you’ve chosen that cause inefficiencies? Does it have organizational issues causing them? Is it localized or organization-wide? Are they deeply rooted in its culture? What type of resistance do you expect to encounter and why? What techniques will you use to overcome them?
Then you must tell me who you would choose to be on your team. What areas are they coming from? Why did you choose the individual(s)? What characteristics are you looking for in them? How would you manage the team? Which techniques would you apply to getting the best results from the team? Remember our discussions on building teams, setting goals, rewards, and conflicts. There will be a 3 minute oral presentation at the end.
