or this assignment, each group will be provided a specific project objective, instrument, and data file. To connect with people in your group, you will select “Groups” in the Global Navigation Bar. This will take you to your group specific page. This is where you will access your group-specific discussion and find the materials needed (case scenarios, data files) to complete your group assignments.

This assignment has multiple steps:

Each student will first need to review the data found in the discussion section individually. For this part of the assignment, you will analyze data file to include descriptives, frequencies, cross-tabs, graphs, t-tests, and more as indicated.
Upload your individual data analysis in PDF format to the forum section. Failure to upload your individual data analysis output to the assignment section may result in up to a 10% personal grade reduction on the assignment.
After analyzing the data individually, you will meet as a group to compare statistical output, re-run data if needed, and compile output to support the assignment. You will use this data output to discuss findings and outcomes from your assigned QI case scenario. Data analysis output completed by the group will be included as an appendix in the paper you submit for grading.
After analysis, you will discuss the results of the QI project in light of the benchmark from your QI project. Remember, benchmarks can be generated from similar practices in the same area or by comparing them to a larger group of practices from across the country. They can also be drawn from standards set by an authoritative body.
