Although FIRAC is often used for case briefs, I do NOT want you to use headings to represent your discussion of the facts, issues, rules, application, and conclusion. Instead, I want you to follow that structure in organizing and writing your paper, but I expect you to write your paper as an essay in narrative form, using complete sentences and no bulleted lists. Your writing will signal to the reader when you are moving from facts to issue, issue to rule, rule to application, and application to conclusion without using a heading. Assume that your reader is unfamiliar with the scenario and has never taken a law class before, so you need to fully explain each step of your reasoning (like a math theorem), so the reader understands how you got to your conclusion.
