Write a five-page paper political debate preparation memo. Based on the review of the debate literature (in my original attached memo) for the chosen candidate (Elizabeth Warren), I want you to cover the following topics in this paper.
(1) Describe the debate format that you are advocating for the candidate. Explain why you favor this particular format for candidate Warren (based on the candidate’s strengths and weaknesses). So, for instance, do you want a town-hall format or traditional debate format? Will you allow time for rebuttals? How much time for rebuttals? Will you recommend opening and closing statements? For each decision, be sure to explain how the recommendation will benefit your candidate.
(2) What topics do you recommend should be covered in the debate? Explain why you are advocating for these topics over others.
(3) Given the topics you have chosen, develop 5 sample questions that you might expect in the debate with potential answers to each question.
(4) Given what was read for the attached political debate memo, what debate strategies would you advocate for candidate Warren and why (e.g., what themes should the candidate pivot to? Should the candidate attack other candidates? Who and why?)
(5) Describe your strategy for the “spin room” after the debate as well as news coverage in the 24 hours after the debate. Again, explain your strategy and why you think it will benefit candidate Warren.
