For this assignment, you will create a power point presentation on one of the 8 Computer Science Threads. When creating your presentation, you should think about the information that you feel is important in helping you decide on your Threads and explaining your Thread(s) to a future employer or prospective student. Each presentation must include the following information, summarized in your own words. Do not copy and paste bios, descriptions, etc. from syllabi or websites, as this will result in an automatic 0 on the assignment.

Information on 3 courses: 1 required course, 2 thread picks. Your research on the courses should go beyond the official course description and include things like languages/software used, key learning outcomes, signature projects/assignments, etc. Much of this information can be discovered through course syllabi, talking to upperclassman, etc. Please note that the required course pick cannot include the following: CS 1301, CS 1331, CS 1332, CS 2340, Junior Design, or CS 4001 (or equivalents)
2 Research Projects: 2 projects taking place at Georgia Tech that align with a topic/skill set within the Thread. Information should include the faculty/grad students working on the project and a brief summary of the project (around 1 paragraph).
2 Faculty Member Bios: 1 tenured track faculty (faculty can be doing research in that area or teaching one of the upper-level courses associated with the thread) and 1 lecturer/DCI faculty member (faculty that teach the 1000 & 2000 level courses). Bios should include the faculty member’s educational background, research/teaching area, a current project they are working on, and 1-2 publications and or conference presentations.
2 Post-Secondary Education Connections: 1 should demonstrate how the thread or the skill set gained aligns with a role in industry, and 1 should demonstrate how the thread aligns with a graduate program at GT or another university (MS or PhD)
