Professional research-style poster

You are asked to produce a professional research-style poster comparing and contrasting three different types of organisation.

CREATIVE A1 Poster, Save as PowerPoint or PDF.

This introductory task is designed to help explore different types of organisational and specifically to identify similarities and differences between investor-owned private enterprise and alternative business models, such as social enterprises. It follows from the workshop session identifying the range and types of social economy and social enterprise organisations.

You may work together in your teams to identify a range of organisations that fit the categories below:

1) A Vice Stock (also known as Sin Stocks)
2) A CSR Stock (a component of a CSR index)
3) A Social Enterprise

For the purposes of this task, ‘social enterprise’ is a charity that trades; a community interest company; or a community benefit society.

You will produce an individual poster comparing and contrasting the three organisations that you – as an individual – have chosen.
