Psycho-social Theory

The paper must include the following elements:
The history and development of the treatment approach.
The central ideas and constructs of the treatment approach.
Identification and discussion of what diagnostic conditions are best treated with this approach.
An assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the approach for application to social work clients and settings, with differential applications highlighted. Include any culturally specific strengths and weaknesses of the approach.
A thorough assessment of the case/client/client system. Protect confidentiality when completing this assessment.
A discussion of the goals and evaluation of expected outcomes from this treatment approach with this client system.
A discussion of evidence-based practices lists endorsing the model and programs that use
this approach and a summary of research that showed this model is evidence-based.
A description of the limitations of the approach with regard to specific populations.
