Reflection Paper

This reflection is designed to help prepare for an upcoming speech.

First, select any 3 nonprofit organizations from the Animal Protection, Welfare and Services category on this page: https://www.guidestar.org/nonprofit-directory/environment-animals/animal-protection-welfare-services/1.aspx . Then, take some time and use the internet to read about each of these 3 nonprofits.

For each nonprofit, I’d like you to answer the following 3 questions in your own words:

1. What is the nonprofit and what exactly do they do? What evidence can you find of their effectiveness? (Think data / statistics that quantify their effectiveness)

2. Would you be interested in potentially delivering your speech on this nonprofit? Why or why not?

3. Find either a primary or secondary source related to this nonprofit. How do you know this is a primary or secondary source? What did you learn from this source?

Because you’ll be answering questions 1-3 for 3 different nonprofits, your answer for each question should only be a sentence or two
