Relationship between Physical Activity and Tuberculosis in Canada

Task(s): Students are responsible for writing a meaningful (i.e., fills the gap in the literature) paper that focuses on a health-related topic that is explored in the form of a brief scoping review OR a study proposal (i.e., the Introduction and Methods sections of a ‘proposed’ study). All submitted work must be unique to this course (i.e., it cannot be something from another course or submitted as part of another course assignment) and must conform to APA Guidelines and the guidelines presented in the “Art of Scientific Writing” lecture. A detailed rubric will be posted on OWL. A parsimonious presentation of the work is expected. Further, the essay should be free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors and the student is responsible for ensuring that is the case prior to submission (e.g., it is recommended that students attend the UWO Writing Support Centre (http://sdc.uwo.ca/writing/) for assistance with writing skills, and pair up with one or two student colleagues to review each other’s work and provide constructive feedback). The final paper should be approximately 8-10 double-spaced pages (not including references), using Times New Roman 12, with 1” margins.
