Assignment Description
Quantitative research is a way to examine the relationship between variables that can be measured numerically. A variety of quantitative designs are commonly used in social science research, including experimental, quasi-experimental, correlational, time-series, and survey. Qualitative research is a way to gain a deep understanding of a person, a concept, or an event— things that cannot be measured numerically. A variety of qualitative designs are commonly used in social science research, including phenomenology, grounded theory, and ethnography.

The two empirical articles—one quantitative article and one qualitative article. The objective of this assignment is to demonstrate that you understand the characteristics of high-quality, empirical research.
