Traditionally, executives have been responsible for determining the firm’s strategic direction and implementing strategies to achieve it, whereas the board of directors has been responsible for monitoring and controlling managerial decisions and actions. Some argue that boards should become more involved with the formulation of a firm’s strategies. How would the board’s increased involvement in the selection of strategies affect a firm’s strategic competitiveness?
The board would increase the involvement strategies of the company’s strategic competitiveness by using the lower levels of an organization to help to increase the responsibility to understand the goals the company has set. After the goals are set, the board will then must have the will to find an answer to problems and start making new decisions.

What evidence do you offer to support their position? The first advantage of using this strategy will allow them to improve quality when the right decisions are made. Workers are then able to accept the work the management team has implemented. The second advantage will allow the employees to participate and achieve the goals of the company. The decisive advantage of the board using this type of strategy is that it will help raise the morale of the company and the employees will feel more respected.
I work for a global company, and I believe they will benefit from using this type of strategy. The moral of the company is terrible. Once I obtain my degree, I will bring forth this type of strategic management to the team to see if they will allow this to improve the company.
