This assignment includes two parts, both of which pertain to the writing of a paper that
reviews a topic in the area of home and community based services that you select:
Part One: The Mid-Term Paper. This paper consists of an initial proposal for the final
paper. It should identify a topic for review that falls in the area of home and community
based services, and discuss why it is an important topic worthy of review.
The proposal for a final paper must be approved before work on the final paper can proceed.

As you prepare for the mid-term paper, please keep in mind that it serves as a proposal (Part One) to the final paper (Part Two). Dr. Chiriboga and I will review your papers and provide comments and suggestions. There is no required length of the paper proposal. In a page or so, you will describe the topic area of interest and why the topic is important. Before you submit the paper, please review the instruction, which is included in the following:
