Streptococcus Pyogenes

It is for Microbiology (BIO-275) I chose Streptococcus Pyogenes as the organism to research. My teacher said to find 4 primary source articles from peer reviewed scientific journals related to topics we covered in class about the organism. Any topic is fine as long as it is directly related to microbe. I will also need to get work cited of the journal articles you used so that I can print them out for the powerpoint I have to make.

How to find a scientific journal article (per Instructor)
look for an article that comes from a respectable scientific journal. Popular press articles can be good for other reasons, but they are not part of the scope of this project. You are looking for articles that are in a journal that will often have a name like “Journal of the American Medical Association” or “Environment and Urbanization” or “Journal of Ecology”. If you look at the top and bottom of the article’s pages, you will often see the name of the journal plus something like “Vol.4, No. 5, December 2004”. In many cases, you will find an abstract first, then it will require you to click on a link that says “Full pdf” or something like that. This is fine, just don’t pay for any articles. There are plenty of free articles that will work for this project. If you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, just keep looking. You will find an article that works for you and for the review if you just take a little time to look around.
