Requirements of Survey Assignment
This assignment requires you to build upon your prospectus by developing a survey that can test the hypotheses related to your overall research question. In doing so you should present the following:
1) A restatement your specific hypotheses as formulated in your prospectus. These will either be the exact hypotheses you originally presented, of if changes were recommended, these will be revised hypotheses.
2) Discuss the conceptualization process for each of the concepts included in your hypotheses. This should include a discussion of the nominal definition of each concept and a discussion of the different dimensions of the concept (if the given concept is multidimensional). That is, what are the various dimensions of this concept, and which of those dimensions are relevant to your study? A nominal definition should be presented for each variable you plan to include, and should take the form of a paragraph of text. Ideally, nominal definitions should be supported with citations and examples from relevant scholarly literature. That is, how have other social scientists dealt with (conceptually defined) the concepts and how will you use this information to understand just what you mean by your concepts?
3) Next you should provide an operational definition of each of the concepts included in your project. You are required to operationalize these concepts using survey questions. That is, I expect to see all the survey questions necessary to conduct your research. These survey questions should be presented exactly how you would present them in an actual survey. At this point, you do not have to create the entire survey (i.e. considering th
