The Artist’s Way Weekly Check In

Expectations: Approximately 2-3 full paragraphs written well and completely.

Description of Assignment: In your Weekly Check In, you will write a summary of the activities you did and reflect on them. Those activities include: Morning Pages, Task, and Artist Date. (The “Tasks” are listed at the end of each chapter, just choose one.)

Use the following to shape your responses:

1. How many days this week did you do your morning pages? How was the experience for you?

2. Did you do your artist date this week? What did you do? How did it feel?

3. Which of the Tasks in the chapter assigned for this week did you do? Where there any significant issues that arose or breakthroughs that happened?

Assessment:

Your weekly posts will be graded according to the following.

Demonstrate knowledge of the text and that you have completed the work;
Answer the questions fully and critically, giving examples to substantiate your claims, and reflecting fully on the material and the work you did;
Writing follows the conventions of writing and is devoid of errors;
